NOTE: Civic Ventures changed the name of this initiative from "Life Options" to "Next
Chapter" to avoid confusion with an existing program that uses the Life
Options name.
Next Chapter (Life Options) programs help individuals nearing retirement answer
the question, "what's next?" by providing "directions and connections" that
enable them to clarify their vision, then develop a practical plan for realizing
that vision. Encouraging continued contributions to one's community is a vital
element of the Next Chapter initiative.
Life Options Blueprint was published in 2003 to guide the development of Next
Chapter (Life Options) initiatives in Maricopa County (Phoenix) Arizona. It identifies
the core and optional elements of Next Chapter programs and provides practical
ideas for planning and developing these programs. |
